Today is the specialist of days at Teague—we’d like to wish our founding father, Mr. Walter Dorwin Teague, a very Happy 126th Birthday!

In mere minutes the Boeing Dreamliner will take to the gray skies of Seattle for it’s very first flight, ending months of anxious anticipation and making me $100 richer (I never lose a bet). Up, up and away…another notch on the bed post of history for TEAGUE.
Another Teague first for the history books! Today we hosted our second first annual chili cook-off! Rumor has it the first took place the summer of 1988. There are very few of us here that can remember that special day… Lake Sammamish, clear blue sky, an egg toss, a water balloon fight, tug-of-war and lots of chili! But, was it an official cook-off, or merely a potluck? If I remember correctly, Mr. Mark Eakins won that year with Peter Manno taking a strong second place with a very memorable tequila chocolate chili…Mark this is your chance to set the record straight, here and now, let the truth be known.
